Built around a courtyard with a carefully preserved Japanese style, this house combines intimacy with the gigantic glass wall and the semi-transparency of its light. and brings a breath of fresh air to the city center. Residents can observe the running of the interior when they are calm, separate but connected to the life around. There is a plot of 224 square meters with large buildings all over the house. The contrast of the two building types is almost astonishing, the lightness of the brick glass facade stands out from the mass and from the mess surrounding it. Glass bricks are so transparent that the trees of the inner courtyard can be seen from the surface.
The sliding glass doors inside allow each room to be in close contact with the inner courtyard. The glass wall continues inside the building, forming a section between functional areas without disturbing natural lighting. In spite of all bay windows and glass panes, the interior is surprisingly dark due to the abundance of matte black surfaces. Residents can shelter in the shade of trees while swimming in the courtyard pool without worrying for curious neighbors. During sunset, glass bricks change light by creating different effects depending on the angle of light.
