Antique furniture and lateral thought

Vintage is very fashionable these days. Wherever you go, you find these places full of pieces from the 50s and 60s, this often bores me with this vintage look (often with an industrial look). Still, I love the idea of recycling, finding a new use for old objects; I love things that have a story in general. As usual, I have furnished my spaces with antiquities, even if not very common. However, antiques did not have the same wealth as modernism. Antique furniture sizes, often too fancy, too delicate or too heavy, make repositioning difficult. In fact, there is no more market for normal antiques and has lost value in the last twenty years. The request is down. We can no longer have 60 cm wide windows and a console that they can draw as soon as something supports us. It's a pity: beautiful pieces and someone can inherit. If we want to find a new purpose and a new position, we must use lateral thinking and place them in areas we cannot put before.
