Last year I also introduced this modern Christmas tree. Originally designed by Lawrence Stoecker in the mid-1960s, this modern Christmas tree was made of acrylic concentric rings adorned with chandelier crystals and other ornaments. In recent years, Stoecker's grandson, Matthew Bliss, began to market trees. To develop this Christmas tree, the legendary Stahl House, built by architect Pierre Koenig and located in the Hollywood Hills with spectacular views of Los Angeles, hosted this modern Christmas tree for photography. This house was immortalized in 1960 by the famous architect photographer Julius Shulman, seen by millions of people around the world.
