I've been following Lucas Lamenha for a while. I really love your art, it's very original and colorful, the fantastic world it represents and the positivity that concentrates on its canvases. I grew up among my father's paintings, a passionate painter, and Lucas' painted faces remind me of some of the mysterious figures my father painted everywhere in street art, 2.0 and pop versions. Lucas Lamenha is Brazilian and currently lives in his hometown Maceio, not far from Recife. He has just finished his first international exhibition in the Dalston district of London, owned by the DSArts Viva Gallery. In September, he will perform in a group show titled The Growing Culture. One of my resolutions for the new year is to read what inspires people to inspire me (here I describe my well-intentioned belief that I always apply here), so I asked Lucas to recommend a book. He replied: çocuk The child in John Boyne's striped pajamas shows that it is absolutely possible to be human even in an inhuman environment and even in the period. Because it shows that innocence is one of the most important things in the world. ” I'm gonna take it.
