Unmissable Beldi

This is undoubtedly one of the most impressive and interesting projects I've ever seen. I love everything about this apartment: colors, materials, level of personalization, space. Originally a shoe factory, Beldi is a loft in Shoreditch, a lively neighborhood in eastern London. The apartment was designed by several architects, husband and wife, Chan and Eayrs, the owners of the work of the same name. The duo focuses on one project at a time and only renews their homes, does not have external customers and lives on site throughout the entire phase. In this way, they manage to succeed without compromising their minds. Since 2004, four properties have been renovated. Working as an interior designer or designer is sometimes not as exciting as he imagined. The creative part goes hand in hand with a great deal of bargaining: customers, suppliers, tradesmen and sometimes even neighbors. In order to do what is in mind, it is understood that the contract is discussed because of staying in the budget, having more budget, the contracts are not good or not discussed. Last week I went to the presentation of a project by Neri e Hu, a Chinese studio supported by Elle Decor Italia. The Italian architect who came as the spokesperson of the work stressed that his work was a constant push and pull to convince him that he needed an expense or the basis of an idea. And Neri and Hu are an internationally recognized studio that can say ”very or nothing or nothing”. For most of us, building your own homes is the best opportunity to realize your idea without interference, without budget; it is not a coincidence that three quarters of the areas published in magazines have their own homes. Beldi is available as a location or holiday home on Airbnb.
