Kensington Complexity

London has always occupied a special place in my heart; I spent a few years of my life there, very formative and a little crazy. When I lived in the British capital, I wandered the streets imagining myself living in countless beautiful homes. Before Brexit, I should have bought a house at that time, thinking how much they had earned from properties in London at that time. The house in the photos below is a gem in the elegant Kensington neighborhood. This old barn was completely transformed by architect Adriana Natc heva (pictured below), which makes this 45 sqm warm and at the same time highly functional. The living area and kitchen are dark areas of the house; the upper part and the bedroom are painted white to create a more comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Various variations of brown (wood, marble veins, copper, leather) and some white highlights (including light bulbs, sofas) warm the dominant black. In private spaces, the opposite is made more interesting with the dominant white Portoro marble headboard and elegant details.
